Waterbuck

A large and stout ringed-horn reddish-brown to light gray antelope species, the Waterbuck, as its name implies, prefers to be around permanent water sources. They have distinctive white markings on their hindquarters, and Waterbuck cows do not have horns. A mature waterbuck bull with its  long and girthy horns that can reach over 30”. If you can't decide which specimen to go after on your next hunt, the exotic Waterbuck always makes for a remarkable choice for a thrilling hunt anytime of the year.

There is no better place to hunt the Texas Hill Country than at Dos C's. You can hunt by any method and various strategies from stalks, to blinds, stands etc. and later relax in our lodge with incredible accommodations at the end of a hunting day. The lodge is 6,000 square feet and newly constructed.  It is equipped with a spacious bar where you can talk about the day's events and past hunting memories.  Behind the lodge at the outdoor living area there is incredible game viewing with many species coming and going throughout the day and evening.  There are 6 spacious rooms available and the lodge can sleep up to 14 comfortably.
