Greater Kudu
Out of all the exotics here on the ranch, the Greater Kudu is one particularly striking visually with their rather large body and enormous spreading spiral-shaped horns. Aside from their stunning looks, their high quality meat makes for great table fare, and they are a suitable trophy to hunt any time of year here in Texas as there are no seasonal restrictions on Greater Kudu. All of these reasons put them at the top of many hunters' wishlists. They are many times referred to by their nickname, the Grey Ghost of Africa, due to their coloration and ability to easily blend into the surrounding brush. This makes the Greater Kudu a sometimes challenging, but extremely rewarding species to book for your next trophy hunt.
